material, the stock is counted as Bales; and is measured in Kilograms at GRN
stage, and as Candy during inventory stocking.
As per the Supplier's specifications,
the Inventory is stocked with batches of different numbers of Bales. These
batches are released on a FIFO basis during the Mix Plan stage to accomplish
the Blow Room process. A Count-wise stock of FGs is maintained in the Inventory
to be packed and stocked in bags or in pallets or in Carton Boxes.
Roadmap ERP is crafted to capture the
details of machine usage and the total machine stoppage time for each shift and
helps the concerned stakeholders to ascertain the production efficiency. The
ERP furnishes accurate data to ensure efficient machine planning. This feature
gives absolute control to decide the machine-wise speed and assign the exact
number of machines to accomplish any production schedule.
MRP II's linking with the Shop Floor
furnishes the real-time scenario of the Equipment and manpower. Details of
'planned machine downtime' project the equipment's status, while the manpower
status is ascertained through attendance, contribution, and productivity.
The Customer Relationship Management
of the Textiles Industries is facilitated by Roadmap ERP through the provision
of the Enquiry, Quotation, Sales Order, and Sales-Invoice screens. The Enquiry
screen gives the scope to capture the intricate details like Count and even the
packing instructions, like Bags, Carton Boxes, etc.
The software has an option at the
master level to assign Shipping Location. The delivery can either be made to
the customer or be directly sent for Netting using this option. Once the Sales
Invoice is raised, the system automatically assigns the prescribed percentage
of commission to the Agent and forwards the details to the Finance Department.
Roadmap ERP records the manpower data
of Textile Industries at 2 levels, namely Primary level and Secondary level.
The hierarchical data (Manager, Supervisor, etc.) is stored at the Primary
level, and the skill set of employees and their experience in handling the
equipment (2 sides, 3 sides, 8 sides, etc.) are collected in the Secondary
